Andrew Ginsberg

Andrew Ginsberg graduated with a BA LLB from Wits University.  Andrew was involved in student politics where he served as a member of the Law Student’s Council and the University’s Disciplinary Committee.

After graduating in 2006, Andrew joined the legal firm Glyn Marais Inc. as a candidate attorney. He served his articles under the stewardship and guidance of Craig Assheton-Smith in Cape Town.

Andrew was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2009 and was employed as a professional legal assistant at Glyn Marais until he joined Assheton-Smith Incorporated in February 2012 as senior associate and made director in 2014. His strong work ethic and moral code has seen him grow into a vital and highly valued member of the team.

During his six years of legal practice, Andrew has gained experience in a variety of practice areas through his hands-on exposure to many complicated and highly involved matters; including arbitrations, trials, opposed motions, appeals to the Supreme Court of Appeal and a number of varying commercial transactions.

Andrew is a dedicated and tenacious attorney who considers the interests of his clients to be of paramount importance.
